I don’t think I’ve had a Sloppy Joe since I was a kid. It’s one of those dishes you reserve as a distant childhood memory…until you’re really craving it and yank it back to life! The problem with it is that you go to a grocery store and are confronted with cans of “instant Sloppy Joe mix.” But because it uses cheap ingredients, and it’s not hard to make, why not try home-cooking it yourself? Don’t forget a NAPKIN!!!

- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 an onion
- 2 large or 4 small hamburger buns
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 slices of cheese
- Start heating up a pan and chop up the onions into small pieces.
- Cook both the beef and onions together until onions begin to brown.
- Add ketchup, bbq sauce, garlic powder, and honey.
- Mix them in the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve meat sauce in between toasted buns with a slice of cheese in the middle.
